Role Overview: As the Store Manager, you will take full ownership of store operations, including sales, customer service, team leadership, and store maintenance. You will drive sales goals, ensure top-notch customer service, oversee training, and manage inventory and alterations. Your leadership will be crucial in maintaining store standards and ensuring a seamless bridal experience.
Key Responsibilities:
Sales & Customer Service: Drive sales performance, set team goals, provide feedback, and celebrate successes. Ensure all staff meet personal targets and uphold high customer service standards.
Training: Keep the team updated on product knowledge and procedures. Schedule and conduct staff meetings for ongoing training.
Staffing & Scheduling: Manage payroll, create schedules, and maintain staffing levels. Conduct interviews and manage team appointments.
Operations: Oversee daily operations, including order management, billing, and inventory. Ensure store processes are streamlined and efficient.
Store Maintenance: Ensure the store is clean, organized, and well-maintained. Plan and execute seasonal merchandising and store improvements.
Trunk Shows & Events: Strategically plan trunk shows, coordinate with designers, and ensure successful execution of events. Promote events through social media and email blasts.
Inventory & Sample Sales: Manage inventory, analyze sales data, and plan sample sales to keep inventory fresh. Conduct regular inventory counts.
Social Media & Marketing: Enhance our social presence on platforms like Instagram, Facebook, and Pinterest. Maintain the website and blog, and engage in community outreach.
Banking: Handle bank deposits, process payments, and manage financial transactions as needed.
Alterations: Oversee the alterations process, schedule appointments, and ensure timely collection of final payments. Partner with seamstresses to ensure client satisfaction.
Qualifications:
Proven leadership experience in retail management. Bridal is a plus!
Strong sales acumen with a track record of meeting targets.
Excellent communication and customer service skills.
Ability to manage inventory and oversee alterations processes.
Experience in scheduling, payroll, and team management.
Detail-oriented with strong organizational skills.
